Change the URL

When you create a new page or post, you often begin by giving it a title. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see the permalink show up just under it in the dashboard.

That’s the direct link to the page or post you are creating. If you’d like to customize that link, you can click the edit button to the right of it and change it to whatever you’d like it to be.

Be sure to update the post when you’re done so it publishes your change.
